27% of British shoppers buy luxury goods through social media and influencers

Marketing agency WWP has unveiled a new report on online shopping with Ogilvy and The Goat Agency, conducted by YouGov among 2,000 UK shoppers. Significantly, 27% of these fashion and beauty consumers who follow influencers have already purchased luxury products via social platforms like TikTok and Instagram.
“The rise of social commerce for luxury goods represents an incredible opportunity for brands to connect with new audiences and drive significant growth. The key to success lies in understanding the nuances of this ever-changing landscape,” said Ellie Hooper, Chief Client Officer at The Goat Agency.
